Podere La Casaccia is an ancient rural nucleus, which still today leaves evident signs of the past tradition.
Positioned on the hills of Casentino Valley, at the foot of which flows the Arno river, the place is framed by the views of the medieval castles of Poppi and Romena, against the background of the National Park of the Casentino Forests which from Falterona mountain reaches the Sanctuary of La Verna, where lived San Francesco from Assisi.
The farm extends for about 20 hectares, partly wooded and the rest intended for the organic cultivation of fruit trees, potatoes and vegetables, while the residential complex is made up of five buildings: one of these is now used as a residence of the Borghini family that owns the complex.
The geographical position makes the place very comfortable for isolation from traffic and noise; at the same time it is easily reachable by car from the main urban centers of the Casentino Valley.
