Podere La Casaccia is an ancient rural nucleus, which still leaves clear signs of the past peasant tradition.

Positioned on the hills of the Alto Casentino, at the foot of which the Arno river flows, the place is framed between the views of the medieval castles of Poppi and Romena, against the backdrop of the Casentinesi Forest National Park which from Monte Falterona reaches the Sanctuary of La Verna.

The geographical position makes the place very comfortable and silent due to its isolation from traffic.
